Welcome to 1st Crownhill Scout Group
Your Scout Group is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who give their time freely for the benefit of Scouting in Crownhill, Plymouth. Our aim is to fulfil the purpose of the Scout movement by promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national, and international communities.We can offer your child lots of activities, fun, new adventures and challenges. Your child will be encouraged to join in all the activities we have to offer and gain as much out of it as they can. 1st Crownhill Scout group are based at Endeavour Hall, Dayton Close, Crownhill which is situated opposite the police station and at the back of the firestation.
To belong to the group a subscription is charged on a School Term basis. The current cost per term is £25.00 and attendances at Camp and weekend activities attract an additional cost, which are advised at the appropriate time. All children are required to wear the standard Scout uniform appropriate to their section. (see group information).

Group Polo Shirts and T shirts.
We encourage the wearing of 1st Crownhill polo shirts and T shirts by the children to events. These can be purchased via the section leaders at a very reasonable cost
